The Baltimore Green Pattern Book, produced by the city Office of Sustainability, is a guidebook that provides visioning tools, site selection criteria, guidelines, and resource information for the greening of vacant lots. This guide helps communities create green spaces that will strengthen neighborhoods and contribute to improved health and a better environment.
The Tree Owner’s Manual for the Northeastern and Midwestern United States was produced by the Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry Forest Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. It is an excellent overview of tree planting and care on individual properties.
