The Foundation intends to convene representatives from two key sectors: the urban forestry community at the municipal level and Maryland's conventional forestry practitioners. This gathering aims to pinpoint and elaborate upon areas of shared interest and potential collaboration in support of Maryland's evolving sustainable forestry goals.
The overarching objective is to break down barriers within the organization, fostering unified thinking and strategic planning to enhance the future impact of forestry professionals in terms of stewardship, economic prosperity, social well-being, and environmental conservation.
